EverEdge New Zealand — Terms And Conditions Of Sale

Welcome to EverEdge New Zealand. These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of products from our website. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

1. General And Pricing


  • Currency And GST: All prices listed on our website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of 15% New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST). A full tax invoice is issued automatically via email upon order confirmation.


  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to update product pricing, freight rates, and promotional offers at any time without prior notice.


  • Errors: In the event that a product is accidentally listed at an incorrect price due to a system error, we reserve the right to cancel or refund any orders placed under the incorrect listing.


2. Orders And Payment


  • Order Acceptance: An order is deemed accepted once payment has successfully cleared through our online checkout gateway.


  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards and approved online payment methods. Goods will not be dispatched or made available for depot collection until full payment has cleared.


3. Shipping And Delivery


  • Nationwide Freight: We deliver EverEdge products throughout mainland New Zealand using third-party tracked courier and freight transport services.


  • Freight Charges: Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on total order weight.


  • Dispatch Timelines:
  • Standard Edging (Classic & Cor-Ten): Typically processed and dispatched within 1 to 2 working days.
  • Pre-Formed Tree Rings: Made-to-order products and typically processed and dispatched within 3 to 5 working days.


  • Delivery Site Access: Deliveries are made to the address specified at checkout. Freight drivers deliver to ground-level property access points (such as driveways or front door areas). Due to the weight and length of steel bundles, drivers are not required to carry items into backyards or through narrow garden gates.


  • Authority To Leave (ATL): Unless explicitly requested otherwise in your order comments, freight deliveries are dispatched with Authority to Leave in a safe spot if no one is on-site to receive the delivery.


4. Click And Collect (Christchurch Depot)


  • Free Local Pickup: Customers who select Click & Collect at checkout can pick up their orders from our Christchurch depot for free.


  • Pickup Notifications: You must wait until you receive an official "Ready for Collection" notification email before arriving at the depot.


  • Collection Times: Depot pickups are available strictly by appointment or within the operating hours specified in your collection confirmation email.


5. Transit Damage And Shortages


  • Inspection On Arrival: Please inspect your steel bundles upon delivery or collection.


  • Reporting Window: Any transit damage, missing components, or order discrepancies must be reported to EverEdge New Zealand within 7 days of delivery.


  • Claims Process: To lodge a freight damage claim, please email photo evidence of the damaged goods and packaging, along with your order number, to our support team so we can arrange replacements or resolution.


6. Returns And Refunds


  • Change Of Mind: If you wish to return unused standard edging products, you must contact us within 14 days of receipt. Items must be returned unused, unbent, undamaged, and in original sellable condition. The buyer is responsible for return freight costs, and a restocking fee may apply.


  • Exclusions: Made-to-order pre-curved tree rings and custom orders are non-refundable for change of mind.


  • Consumer Guarantees Act: Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where applicable.


7. Product Care And Weathering


  • Cor-Ten Steel Finish: EverEdge Cor-Ten steel products arrive in an un-weathered, raw silver steel state. Natural surface rusting and patina development occur outdoors over 3 to 5 weeks. Initial rust runoff can occur during early weathering stages; avoid installing raw Cor-Ten directly over light-coloured porous paving where runoff rust stains are undesirable.


  • Installation: Products must be installed in accordance with our provided installation guidelines to prevent structural bending or damage during lawn mowing.
